What you get back

Unused eligible classes only

Your refund covers eligible unused classes at the time of your request. Attended, missed, or lapsed classes without an approved pause don't count.

When to request

Within 12 months

You have 12 months from your invoice date to raise a refund request. Please submit at least 15 days before that window closes. Late requests can't be processed.

How long it takes

Once we confirm your refund, it's processed within 15 business days. The time it shows in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

A few things are not refundable

Cuemath's refund applies to paid, unused classes. A few specific categories are outside the scope of any refund.

Classes you've already attended

Completed classes, whether attended or missed, are not refunded.

Bonus or gifted classes

Classes added through rewards, promotions, referrals, sibling benefits, or goodwill gestures.

Transaction fees

Payment gateway charges, convenience fees, or bank charges are deducted from your eligible refund amount.

EMI-related charges

EMI processing fees, interest, or pre-closure penalties from your bank or lender.

Forex and cross-border fees

Applicable to international transactions.

Taxes already paid

Taxes corresponding to classes attended or completed, and taxes applicable on payments or refunds, are non-refundable.

Note on pausing your program: If you've paused your classes, the pause period does not extend your 12-month refund window. The window is always calculated from your original invoice date.

Cuemath offers pro-rata refund for its program, subject to the terms and conditions set out in this Policy. Refunds, where applicable, shall be calculated on a pro-rata basis, considering only the classes remaining out of the total number of paid classes at the time of a valid refund request being processed.

No refund shall be processed unless the refund request is raised at least fifteen (15) days prior to the expiry of twelve (12) months from the date of issuance of the relevant invoice by Cuemath in respect of the fees for which the refund is sought. Any request raised thereafter shall be time-barred and rejected. The time limits specified in Clause 1(iii), including the requirement that a refund request be raised at least fifteen (15) days prior to the expiry of the twelve (12) month period, shall constitute a final and non-extendable cut-off for all refund eligibility.

The following shall be strictly non-refundable: Classes already attended, completed, missed, or lapsed due to absenteeism where an approved pause was not applied; Classes added or granted as a part of rewards, promotions, campaigns, referrals or sibling enrollment benefits surveys or feedback initiatives or as a goodwill gesture or service recovery/compensation, and gifted classes; Payment gateway charges, transaction fees, or convenience fees charged by such Payment gateways shall be deducted from the eligible refund amount on pro-rata basis, in proportion to the refund being processed; EMI processing fees, interest components, or pre-closure charges levied by banks or financial institutions; Bank charges, forex conversion charges, or cross border transaction fees; Any applicable taxes, duties, or levies with Govt. authorities corresponding to classes already attended, completed, missed, or lapsed.

Pauses or grace periods do not extend or modify the 12 (twelve) month refund eligibility period specified in Clause 1(iii), nor the requirement that a refund request be submitted at least 15 (fifteen) days prior to its expiry, and shall not shift or reset the applicable trigger date for such period.

Refunds shall be processed to the original payment method, where technically feasible and permitted under applicable banking, payment gateway, or regulatory requirements. Where a refund to the original payment method is not feasible, Cuemath may, at its discretion, process the refund through bank transfer in the name of the original payer.

Refunds are typically processed within 15 (fifteen) business days from the date of refund confirmation, subject to the timelines and policies of banks, payment gateways, and financial institutions.

Cuemath shall process the eligible refund amount in accordance with applicable banking and payment gateway mechanisms. Customers are solely responsible for coordinating with their card-issuing bank or lender for EMI cancellation or foreclosure. Cuemath shall not be responsible for any: EMI interest; pre-closure charges; processing fees; or penalties imposed by the issuing bank or lender.

Refund Policy Terms and Conditions

Effective: 1st April 2026

Our refund policy explains the terms and conditions under which refunds may be requested and processed for Cuemath programs.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all customers enrolled in Cuemath programs, and shall govern all refund and cancellation requests submitted on or after, 1st April 2026, regardless of the date of enrolment or payment.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before opting for our refund policy.

Eligibility of Refunds

(i)

Cuemath offers pro-rata refund of the eligible fees paid for its program, subject to the terms and conditions set out below :

(ii)

Refunds, where applicable, shall be calculated on a pro-rata basis, considering only the classes remaining out of the total number of paid classes at the time of a valid refund request being processed for the following reasons:

(a)

Any unused or remaining classes;

(b)

Any class pauses, deferments or rescheduling

(c)

Any operational or personal delays in attending classes.

(iii)

The time limit requirement for a refund request must be raised at least fifteen (15) days prior to the expiry of the twelve (12) month period from date of issuance of the invoice. This timeline shall constitute a final and non-extendable cut-off for all refund eligibility.

Program Tenure, Pause, and Lapse

(i)

Each Cuemath program has a defined program tenure, commencing from the program start date.

(ii)

Cuemath may, at its discretion permit temporary pauses or limited grace periods for completion of classes in accordance with its pause policy.

(iii)

Non Refundable Items

This refund policy is applicable only to classes conducted by Cuemath and does not cover any additional materials or services.

Notwithstanding anything contained in this policy, or otherwise, fees for following shall be strictly non-refundable:

(i)

Classes already attended, completed, missed, or lapsed due to absenteeism where an approved pause was not applied;

(ii)

Classes added or granted as a part of rewards, promotions, campaigns, referrals or sibling enrollment benefits surveys or feedback initiatives or as a goodwill gesture or service recovery/compensation, and gifted classes including in connection with transactional charge, purchase of learning products such as Math Canvas, customer experience issue or class experiences, or where additional classes have been added in connection with the purchase of longer tenure program;

(iii)

Payment gateway charges, transaction fees, or convenience fees charged by such Payment gateways shall be deducted from the eligible refund amount on pro-rata basis, in proportion to the refund being processed;

(iv)

EMI processing fees, interest components, or pre-closure charges levied by banks or financial institutions.

(v)

Bank charges, forex conversion charges, or cross border transaction fees.

(vi)

Any applicable taxes, duties, or levies with Govt. authorities corresponding to classes already attended, completed, missed, or lapsed or for taxes paid or payable in respect of payment or refund of such fees.

Refund Mode and Processing

(i)

Refunds shall be processed to the original payment method, where technically feasible and permitted under applicable banking, payment gateway, or regulatory requirements.

(ii)

Where a refund to the original payment method is not feasible, Cuemath may, at its discretion process the refund only through bank transfer in the name of the payment made in a scheduled bank.

(iii)

Refunds are typically processed within 15 (fifteen) business days from the date of refund confirmation, subject to the timelines and policies of banks, payment gateways, and financial institutions.

EMI Transactions

(i)

Where payment has been made through an EMI facility using a credit card, debit card, or third-party lender:

(a)

Cuemath shall process the eligible refund amount in accordance with applicable banking and payment gateway mechanisms.

(b)

Customers are solely responsible for coordinating with their card-issuing bank or lender for EMI cancellation or foreclosure.

(ii)

Cuemath shall not be responsible for any:

(a)

EMI interest;

(b)

pre-closure charges;

(c)

processing fees; or

(d)

penalties imposed by the issuing bank or lender.

Force Majeure and Program Discontinuation

(i)

Cuemath reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or terminate classes or programs due to events beyond its reasonable control, including force majeure events.

(ii)

In the event of a force majeure event that renders the continued provision of classes permanently or otherwise impossible, Cuemath may, at its discretion either:

(a)

Reschedule or resume the affected classes when feasible; or

(b)

Provide an appropriate extension of time for class completion; or

(c)

Process pro-rata refund for un-availed portion of the program.

Policy Modification

(i)

Cuemath reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Policy from time to time and same shall become effective within five (5) business days after publication on the Cuemath website. Cuemath may, at its discretion and where practicable, notify enrolled customers of such changes through available customer communication channels.

(ii)

Unless expressly stated otherwise, any revised Policy shall apply to all refund requests submitted on or after its effective date, irrespective of the date of purchase, enrolment or payment.
