Symmetry - NCERT Class 7 Maths

The chapter 14 begins with an introduction to Symmetry by citing some examples of symmetry found in nature.Then, the concept of lines of symmetry for regular polygons is explained elaborately.Rotational Symmetry is the next topic of discussion in which topics such as centre of rotation and angle of rotation are dealt in detail.The last topic of discussion is the existence of both rotational symmetry and line symmetry in figures.The study of symmetry is important because of its frequent use in day-to-day life and more because of the beautiful designs it can provide us.
